The UIA World Congress will take place in Tokyo between September 25 and October 1st 2011. As part of the preparatory events, the UIA has developed a website that gathers all the information related to the event.
In the website there is an area devoted to the International Architects Network, where written collaborations made by several foreign architects resident in the city can be read.
Our collaboration “Urban Fabric Tokyo” is included of course, and the link to it is here.
Thanks to the effort made by the AIA exhibition team as well as Kuno san family & friends, the exhibition went well and had a good attendance during the 4 days of its duration.

El edificio ha sido finalizado durante el mes de Junio 2011. En el momento se hacen los remates finales y queda pendiente la ocupación.

建築家として、教師として、デザインを心から愛した ”わくさん” 久野和作さんの仕事と人生をともに語り合いませんか？展覧会は、彼の創造のプロセスと卓越したデザイン力の証しである日本キリスト教団「蒲田教会」、小山友の家、丸岡アパート、Hobby Roomのある家、Joy Houseなどを紹介します。さらに、よき友人、夫、父としての、彼が慈しんだ人生の喜びをお伝えします。

Please join us for a Wac Kuno Tribute Exhibition
Join us as we celebrate the work and life of Wasaku “Wac” Kuno (1945-2010), the architect, teacher and design enthusiast. The exhibit focuses on Wac’s creative process, featuring such notable designs as the Kamata United Church of Christ, Tomo no Ie Oyama, Mruoka Apartment, Hobby Room House and his own residence, Joy House. But we also pay tribute to Wac’s unique joie de vivre, especially in his roles as friend, husband and father.
